Rockin’ Out at the Park in Preston: Southbound

The Town of Preston is rockin’ in this year’s summer concert series with local rock band Southbound, a good-time party band playing classic rock, southern rock, rhythm and blues and a few country tunes.  Southbound combines the established talents of Robert Karge, Roy Sadler, Colleen Sadler, Les Frampton  and Mike McCue. These talented musicians have performed locally in some form or fashion since the late 60’s and early 70’s. Expect an enjoyable musical trip down Rock-n-Roll history during Southbound’s three hour concert debut in Preston.

Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and summer coolers for this concert on the park’s grassy knoll. The public will also be invited to “rock-out” artistically at this event by painting a rock to hide. Preston’s James T. Wright Park is a very popular hiding and rock painting spot for our local Delmarva Rocks! rock painters and especially our younger rock hide and seekers.
