Old Methodist Cemetery

209 N. Main Street, Greensboro

This old Methodist burial ground dates to the 1780s and is the last resting place of many of the early settlers of Greensboro, including the co-founder of Greensboro, Peter Harrington. It is also the burial place of warrior/physician and veteran of the Battle of Waterloo, Dr. Henry F. Rousset, who ministered to the sick of Caroline County for nearly 50 years.
